Museum of Rugby - Twickenham
- http://www.rfu.com/microsites/museum/
Since the birth of the Rugby Football Union in 1871, a significant collection of artefacts has been collected. Minute books, match programmes, tickets and fascinating gifts from other Unions. Over the course of a century, the collection built up to such a level that in 1972 the RFU had the idea of opening a museum. The first location thought of was at 180 Whitton Road. This is one of the RFU owned houses behind the South Stand. This museum never came to fruition and the house became an archive store.
